Heyyyy girlfriend!!
So, I guess we will just jump right in with a quick intro. I'm Marquita, and most of my family/framily call me Quita. I reside where the money is, lol, but I was born and raised in the Dirty South, Atlanta, GA to be exact. I am the creator and visionary behind DOPE Mom Gang and the DOPEISH Lifestyle Brand. I am a DOPE mom of two DOPE girls, Janiya (14) and Jordan (7). I love fashion, sneakers (my favs are Jordans), perfume, foooood, making money and seeing my children genuinely happy. Of course there is more but stick around and you'll get to know me better. I am the definition of a Virgo, lol, if you know you know. And finally I would give you the shirt off my back if you needed it.
So What is DOPE Mom, because it's definitely not just a word to me. DOPE is an acronym for Daring Other to Pursue Excellence. It is my mission to provide real life examples from real life experiences that help raise the vibration and mindset of the culture. I have been through some shit and life has been my best teacher so I felt that it needed to be shared to let others know that there is life after loss, hurt, failure, depression, a broken heart, rejection just to name a few.
It is my mission to create a collective for women of color that can help push each other to excellence. Excellence in every aspect of your being. I have had this vision for 6 years, and just recently decided to just take that leap of faith into unknown waters. And along the way I have had some awesome women help me along this short journey and I am so grateful.
This is a space of love and inspiration ONLY! Everyone has different beliefs and ways of living but we all have the same end goal, and that is to be the best version of ourselves that we can be. One of my favorite quotes is:

When I say I feel that proverb in my soul, it hits deep. I know that collectively we can go far, we can break generational curses, we can build legacies, we can tear down walls that were built to keep us out and be the blueprint for generations to come.
